I knew I was good at what I did. People said so. The work spoke for itself. But when someone asked "what makes you different?" — the words didn't come.
I tried everything. Branding exercises. Bio templates. Asking friends. Staring at blank pages for hours. Nothing worked. Every attempt felt either too generic ("I'm a creative who cares about details") or too narrow ("I make dashboards for fintech startups").
The breakthrough came when I stopped trying to invent an identity and started looking at the work I'd already done. Not any single project — but the pattern across all of them.
The seeing problem
That's when I realized: this isn't a writing problem. It's a seeing problem.
Your unique value isn't hiding. It's right there in your work. You just can't see it because you're too close. You're inside the pattern, so you can't see its shape.
It's like trying to read a word when you're standing on one of the letters. You need distance. You need a mirror.
That's what Signature is
Signature is the mirror I wished I had. You share a few projects, and it shows you the pattern you've been living but couldn't name.
Not who you could become. Not a brand you should perform. Just who you already are — reflected back in words you can finally use.
The goal is simple: that moment when you read your Signature and think, "That's me. I've never been able to say it like that."
Who I am
I'm a solo founder who does creative work on the side. Not professionally — just someone who makes things and struggled for years to explain what connects them.
I built Signature first for myself, then realized others might need it too. If you're a creative who knows you're good but can't quite say why — you're exactly who I built this for.
