These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Signature, an AI-powered creative positioning service. By using Signature, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
What Signature Does
Signature is an AI-powered service that helps creative professionals discover and articulate their unique approach to work. You share examples of your work with us, and we use pattern recognition to help you see what makes your approach distinctive.
The signatures we generate are starting points for self-reflection, not definitive judgments. You know your work better than anyone—we're here to help surface patterns you might not have noticed.
Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use Signature. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this age requirement. If you're using Signature on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
Your Account
You can use Signature without an account for a single session. To save your signature and access it later, you'll need to create an account with your email address.
You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. If you suspect unauthorized access to your account, contact us immediately at hello@creativesignature.app.
Account Deletion
You can delete your account at any time from your account Settings. When you request deletion:
- Your account is immediately deactivated and you'll be signed out
- Your data is retained for 30 days, during which you can recover your account by logging in again
- After 30 days, your account and all associated data are permanently deleted
We may also suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in abusive behavior.
Your Responsibilities
By using Signature, you agree to:
- Provide only your own work or work you have permission to share
- Not use the service for any illegal or harmful purposes
- Not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse our systems
- Not circumvent any rate limits or security measures
- Keep your account credentials secure
- Provide accurate information when creating an account
Intellectual Property
Your content: Your work samples, descriptions, and any content you provide remain yours. The signatures and positioning drafts we generate for you are yours to use however you like—in your portfolio, on your website, in job applications, wherever.
Our service: Signature, including its design, code, AI models, and branding, is owned by us. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our service without permission.
License grant: By submitting content, you grant us a limited license to process it through our AI system to generate your signature. We may also use anonymized, aggregated data to improve our pattern recognition, but we won't share your individual work or signature without your consent.
Payment Terms
Signature offers both free and premium features. The free tier allows you to generate and save your signature. Premium features provide additional capabilities and will be clearly marked with their pricing.
For paid services:
- Payments are processed securely through Stripe
- Prices are displayed in USD and may be subject to applicable taxes
- You agree to pay the fees displayed at the time of purchase
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date
Refunds: If you're not satisfied with a premium feature, contact us within 14 days of purchase and we'll work with you to find a fair resolution. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.
AI-Generated Content
Signature uses artificial intelligence (powered by Anthropic Claude) to analyze your work and generate insights. You understand that:
- AI outputs are suggestions, not guarantees of accuracy or quality
- Results may vary based on the content you provide
- You're responsible for reviewing and using AI-generated content appropriately
- AI systems have limitations and may occasionally produce unexpected results
Limitation of Liability
Signature is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do our best to deliver accurate, meaningful insights, but we don't guarantee that the service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or meet your specific expectations.
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- We're not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service
- Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater
- We're not responsible for decisions you make based on AI-generated content
Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms, your use of the service, or content you submit that infringes on others' rights.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland, without regard to conflict of law principles. For users in the European Union, this doesn't affect your statutory rights under local consumer protection laws.
Dispute Resolution
If you have a dispute with us, please contact us first at hello@creativesignature.app. We'll try to resolve it informally. If we can't reach a resolution, disputes will be handled through the courts of Poland, unless local law requires otherwise.
EU users may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we'll notify you through the service or by email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use after changes means you accept the new Terms.
If you don't agree to updated Terms, you may close your account before they take effect.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
